The PTA Reflections Art Contest will be returning for the 2026–2027 school year, and now is the perfect time for our Springers to start thinking, dreaming, and creating!

 

This year’s theme is:

“What My Culture Means to Me”

Reflections

 

Students are invited to think about what culture means to them and express their ideas through an original work of art. Culture can be reflected in many different ways: through family, traditions, heritage, community, experiences, celebrations, values, or anything else that helps shape who they are.

 

The PTA Reflections Program is a National PTA and Georgia PTA cultural arts competition that allows students to explore their creativity, express themselves, and receive recognition for their original work.

 

Students may submit entries in one or more of six arts categories:

💃 Dance Choreography – express your ideas through movement

🎬 Film Production – bring your story or ideas to life on screen

📖 Literature – write a story, poem, essay, or other original work

🎵 Music Composition – create an original musical composition

📷 Photography – capture your interpretation through your lens

🎨 Visual Arts – draw, paint, illustrate, or create mixed-media artwork

 

Ready to submit? Here’s what you need to know:

 Entries may be submitted to your teacher anytime before October 7.

 Final submissions will also be collected in front of the cafeteria on the morning of October 7.
